GENERAL DESCRIPTIONSet in 24 acres, the Wye River Valley Tourist Park is bisected by the beautiful Wye River, a fresh water stream with its origins in the Otway Rangers. For campers there are generous powered and unpowered camp sites, most are located along the river plus a Camp Kitchen with all facilities. There are also self-contained cabins and holiday units including a number with prepared bedding. Just across the road is the magnificent Wye Beach, which is patrolled in season. This is truly a perfect spot for an affordable holiday. Wye River is situated in perhaps the most spectacular stretch of the Great Ocean Road. Wye River offers a safe swimming beach, great fishing, great walks, fantastic food and accommodation. Along with Wye Rivers Historical Past there is much more to see.
There is wild life aplenty to see all year round such as Koalas, Kangaroos, echidnas, birds galore and in the winter seasons the southern right whales and the possible pod of dolphins passing by.
