GENERAL DESCRIPTIONSituated on the ocean side of the Great Ocean Road & edged by the Wye River, this small community reserve is a beach lover's haven. 60 powered sites, both seasonal & casual are available from December until Easter. This very popular location is a perfect place & safe location for families and couples. The beach is the other side of a sceen of trees but the sound never stops. Adjacent to the surf club, the beach is safely patrolled, great for surfing, body surfing or for children playing in the creek. The close rocks are suitable for fishing and just pottering among the rockpools. You can walk along the beach to the rocks at the south end where two old ruined piers stand in the rocks, another popular fishing spot. Aross the road is a cafe and general store, and adjacent is the popular Wye Beach Hotel FACILITIES- 60 grassy powered sites, 2 unpowered sites
