Saving our Wildlife  Our Otway Coast is home to many animals and birds, some of which are threatened or endangered.
Unfortunately human activity can have a serious impact on our wildlife sometimes resulting in sick, injured and orphaned animals every year. We have many local people who work tirelessly to rescue and save injured koalas, kangaroos, possums and sugar gliders just to mention a few.  Many dedicated people in our Otway Coast region are animal carers and will keep injured animals warm, fed and housed until they can be returned into the wild or to a sanctuary. Our hats off to them.
